Where We Operate
PRM is headquartered in Butner, North Carolina. Our family of brands also includes LMS Remediation in Marianna, Florida, and Clean Globe Environmental in Brentwood, New York.
From there, our manufacturing and service locations reach across the eastern United States, and we ship remediation and landfill gas systems nationwide and overseas.
What We Do
PRM builds and services pollution control equipment for environmental remediation and the landfill industry. Air strippers, flare systems, oil-water separators, control panels, pressure vessels, and the field crews to install and run them.
We are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) with a focus on the remediation and landfill industries. Custom skid fabrication, UL-certified control panels, ASME pressure vessels, and on-site field services are all done in-house.
Designed, fabricated, and commissioned in-house means one team from quote through startup and long-term operations.

Our History
Phillips Electric Company of Durham
Founded as a local electrical contracting firm specializing in residential and commercial wiring in Durham, North Carolina.
Expansion into Retail Petroleum & UST Work
PEC expanded its services to include wiring for retail petroleum sites and addressing underground storage tank issues for a local petroleum marketer. That work laid the groundwork for what would become PRM.
PRM Founded by Mel & Brian Phillips
Product Recovery Management, Inc. was founded by Robert M. Phillips, Jr. (Mel) and Brian J. Phillips after a successful response to a significant gasoline spill near Hillsborough, NC. PRM emerged as a subsidiary of Phillips Electric Co. of Durham, Inc.
Nationwide Growth & Global Shipping
PRM has expanded its services from North Carolina to a nationwide level and has shipped remediation and landfill gas systems globally. Today, PRM holds third-party UL & NFPA certifications, ASME Section VIII, National Board, and NSF, and operates from its Butner, NC headquarters.
