Landfill Gas Equipment
Complete systems for landfill gas collection, treatment, control, and energy recovery. Extraction blowers, flare systems, leachate pumps, and SCADA all designed and built in one place.
How Landfill Gas Is Generated
As the U.S. population consumes goods, significant amounts of waste accumulate in landfill cells, much of it organic. In the anaerobic environment of a landfill, bacteria thrive and break down these materials, producing methane gas while leachate liquids accumulate at the bottom of the cell.
PRM offers solutions to manage these liquids and gases. Leachate and condensate are removed for treatment and disposal, freeing up space for continued gas generation. The collected gases are either flared off where required or directed to gas-to-energy co-generation systems.
Managing this gas correctly is a regulatory requirement and, increasingly, a revenue opportunity through Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) and carbon credit programs.
Gas Destruction
Flare systems achieving up to 98–99% methane destruction efficiency
Energy Recovery
Gas-to-energy and RNG pre-treatment for co-generation and pipeline injection
Gas Extraction
Blower skids creating negative pressure to collect gas from the well field
Leachate Control
Electric and pneumatic pumps removing liquids from wells and condensate sumps
Complete LFG Equipment Line
Every component of a landfill gas system, manufactured and integrated in-house from our facility in Butner, NC.

Flare Systems
Utility (candlestick) and enclosed flare designs from 50 to 10,000 SCFM. NFPA 86 compliant, proprietary pilot burner, 10:1 or greater turndown. Rental systems available.
