SMS Messaging

PRM telemetry systems can send automated alarm and status alerts by text message. This page explains how an operator enables that on the HMI and links to the terms and privacy policy that apply.

How the HMI SMS setup works

The HMI uses a confirmation step before SMS recipient information is used for alarm delivery. This page explains the process. The acknowledgement itself happens on the HMI.

    Review the terms

    Read the SMS Terms and Conditions on the HMI, or use this page as a reference.

    Confirm on the HMI

    Press "I Have Read And Agree To These Terms" on the HMI. This confirms that the operator has reviewed the messaging terms.

    Continue after agreement

    After the HMI acknowledgement is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to finish configuring SMS alarm delivery.
