Inclined Plate Clarifiers

High-efficiency solids removal for process water recycling. Industrial-duty 304 stainless steel construction with flow rates from 1 to 100 GPM, standalone or integrated into treatment packages.

Enhanced Solids Removal Using Bernoulli's Principle

PRM manufactures Plate Clarifiers for enhanced solids removal from process streams. The raw process water enters the clarifier where it is dispersed evenly through the chamber. The collection surface of the inclined plates allows solids to slide downward to the sludge hopper for removal while the clarified effluent exits through the outlet.

Plate Clarifiers can be used in conjunction with oil-water separators or on their own for solids removal. These industrial-duty units are designed for flow rates from 1 to 100 GPM and manufactured using heavy gauge 304 stainless steel.

PRM Plate Clarifiers utilize Bernoulli's Principle to provide high-efficiency fluid separation with low maintenance that can operate as a standalone system or integrated into treatment packages.

How Plate Clarifiers Work

1

Inlet Distribution

Raw process water enters the clarifier and is dispersed evenly through the chamber across the inclined plates.

2

Plate Separation

Inclined plates provide increased settling surface area. Solids slide downward along plate surfaces to the sludge hopper while clarified water rises.

3

Effluent & Sludge Collection

Clarified effluent exits through the outlet. Settled solids collect in the integrated sludge hopper for periodic manual drainage.
