Continuous Gas Monitoring & Analysis
PRM integrates automated, fixed-position, continuous gas-monitoring analyzers into our landfill gas (LFG) packages for greenhouse gas destruction verification. The fixed analyzers monitor the three primary gases: CH₄, O₂, and CO₂, helping analyze system performance and calculate carbon credits.
Our systems can collect data from flow meters, blowers, gas analyzers, liquid control systems, and co-generation equipment. PRM's primary system is the Siemens ULTRAMAT, with ABB integration available as required.
Design concerns addressed include instrumentation classification, gas conditioning prior to sampling, calibration, data retrieval, and accuracy. Properly configured systems ensure reliable data for compliance and carbon credit verification.

Siemens ULTRAMAT
Fixed Multi-Component Gas Analyzer
The Siemens ULTRAMAT is a multi-component gas analyzer ideal for landfill gas applications. Automatic calibration means calibration gases are needed less often. IR, UV, H₂S, and O₂ sensors are available. Allows up to 4 components (CO, CO₂, NO, SO₂, CH₄, O₂, H₂S) in a 19″ withdrawal unit housing.

Portable Landfill Gas Analyzers
The GEM™ 2000 and 5000 series handheld monitors are designed specifically for landfill use, monitoring LFG extraction systems, flares, and migration control. With one instrument, measure gas composition, pressure, and flow at various points in the extraction process.
