PRM oxidizers destroy volatile organic compounds from soil vapor extraction, air sparge, and industrial off-gas streams, including gas-fired thermal and catalytic units and the all-electric FALCO catalytic line for sites without a gas supply.
Oxidizers destroy volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in contaminated air and off-gas streams, making them a core technology for soil vapor extraction, air sparge, and industrial remediation. PRM designs and manufactures oxidizer systems for both high-concentration industrial off-gas and sites without a gas supply.
For high-concentration vapor, gas-fired thermal oxidizers fire to 1400°F with a 1.5-second retention time to achieve greater than 99.99% destruction, and can run in catalytic mode at 700°F for lower fuel cost. These units use a carbon steel chamber with a 6-inch refractory lining and an NFPA 86 compliant combustion design.
For sites without a gas supply, PRM offers FALCO electric catalytic oxidizers, the CatOx-E line, for destruction of VOCs from off-gas equipment. FALCO units use the latest monolithic, low-temperature catalyst modules and are manufactured entirely of T304 stainless steel, including the inner shell, heat exchanger, and ducting. Available in FALCO 100, 300, and 600 models, they require no gas supply and restart automatically after a power failure.
Both technologies integrate directly with PRM soil vapor extraction, air sparge, and remediation systems, and can be configured with process blower VFDs, wireless telemetry, and alloy or wet-scrubber options for chlorinated-solvent streams.
